Breastfeeding Support
Receive expert help when challenges arise

In-Person and Virtual Lactation Education & Support

Breastfeeding is both blissful and challenging. Many of the challenges can be easily overcome with proper help. Receive in-person or virtual breastfeeding education and support from an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant to provide you with information and guidance to help you reach your breastfeeding goals. Discover solutions to your concerns, such as sore nipples, problems with latching, a sleepy or fussy baby at the breast, establishing a good supply, or how to know if your baby is getting enough milk.

Working with a lactation professional can be especially helpful for first-time mothers, mothers who have had difficulty breastfeeding in the past, mothers of multiples or preemies, mothers who are planning to breastfeed and return to work, or mothers of babies with medical conditions or oral restrictions that may impact feedings.

Insurance Coverage

Don’t let cost be a barrier to getting proper help when breastfeeding challenges arise! Many insurance companies such as Anthem BCBS, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna and MultiPlan (look for the logo on your Aetna or UHC card) may provide you with complete coverage for in-person and virtual lactation consultations with me; that’s at no out-of-pocket expense to you! To see if you qualify, visit the Lactation Network by clicking the button. All you have to do is verify your coverage and have your visit pre-approved, which will typically happen within a few business hours.

If you are not insured under one of the plans mentioned above, you may still be able to receive coverage by your insurance provider. Following your appointment you may request a superbill detailing the services provided, which you can then submit to your insurance company for reimbursement of your lactation consultation.
