About Kayla
Partnering with you on your journey
Sleepless nights. An empty cup. A sense of carrying it all by yourself.
Motherhood doesn't have to look that way.
You Deserve More Than Survival.
I believe every mother deserves to feel nourished, confident, and deeply supported — not just in pregnancy, but through postpartum recovery and beyond.

At Nourished Mothers, I help women who feel depleted, anxious, or uncertain about how to best care for themselves and their baby. Whether it’s challenges with nutrition, breastfeeding, or both, my work uncovers the root causes of what’s holding you back and helps you build strong, simple foundations for healing and feeding.

The result? Less worry. More energy. Greater confidence.
For you and your baby to thrive.

Motherhood is both beautiful and demanding
— no one should have to carry it all alone.
Consider me part of your circle of support.
I'm Kayla, a Colorado-based Registered Dietitian and IBCLC Lactation Consultant supporting women and their families through the early years of motherhood. I am proud to provide nutrition and lactation consultations both in-person in the Denver Foothills and Southwest Denver Metro area of Colorado, and virtually across the globe.
My passion for this work is both professional and deeply personal. Rooted in science, and shaped by motherhood.

As a mom of three, I’ve lived through the tender, raw moments of postpartum — the exhaustion, the questions of “Am I doing this right?”, "Will I ever feel like myself again?", and the longing for support that felt hard to find. I’ve also felt the healing power of good nutrition, the intimacy of breastfeeding, and the strength that comes from tending to the body, mind, and soul.

I created Nourished Mothers to bridge the gap I saw in maternal care: an approach that brings together functional nutrition, breastfeeding support, and space for the emotional landscape of motherhood.
Nourished Mothers
Every woman carries her own story, her own biology, and her own lived experience. That’s why I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, my work weaves together threads of care that honor the whole mother.

Through functional nutrition, I help restore the body’s natural rhythms — replenishing depleted minerals, supporting gut health, balancing hormones, and calming inflammation so you can feel steady and nourished from within.
Alongside this, I bring my experience in lactation consulting, offering practical guidance and compassionate support to ease feeding challenges, strengthen supply, and build confidence in the sacred bond between you and your baby.
And because motherhood is as emotional as it is physical, I also integrate emotional wellness support into my practice, drawing on my training in perinatal mental health to hold space for the tender, unseen layers of this season.

Together, these elements create a holistic approach — one that doesn’t just focus on the baby, or just the mother, but on the beautiful, inseparable whole of both.

Mothers I Walk Beside
The women I support are in the most tender and transformative seasons:

-
Expectant mothers preparing their bodies for pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding
-
Postpartum women navigating exhaustion, hormonal shifts, and healing
-
Breastfeeding mothers seeking reassurance, troubleshooting, or feeding support
-
Women longing for deeper energy, mood balance, and true nourishment

If you see yourself here, you’re not alone — and you don’t have to walk this path unsupported.
What Mothers Tell Me
I hear the same themes again and again from the women I support:

-
“I feel invisible in my medical care.”
-
“I’m so tired, and nothing seems to help.”
-
“I’m overwhelmed by all the conflicting advice.”
-
“I just want someone to really listen and help me connect the dots.”

You don’t need another generic handout or quick fix.
You need personalized care that listens, validates, and equips you with tools that actually work, from the hands of an expert.
