Many insurance companies such as Anthem BCBS, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna and MultiPlan (look for the logo on your Aetna or UHC card) may provide you with complete coverage for in-person and virtual lactation consultations with me; that’s at no out-of-pocket expense to you! If you are not insured under one of the plans mentioned above, you may still be able to receive coverage by your insurance provider. Following your appointment you may request a superbill detailing the services provided, which you can then submit to your insurance company for reimbursement of your lactation consultation.
